Le duo guitare batterie franco-américain Tarah Who ?, présente le titre et le clip de Bad Time, extrait de leur prochain album à paraitre en septembre via le label français M&O Music.
A propose de ce morceau personnel, Tarah Carpenter précise : « It is a little difficult for me to talk about this song as it is a little too personal. Even though this happened to me, I am too afraid still of the consequences of mentioning this out loud. I named this song ‘Bad Time’ initially because one recurring sentence in the song was « Wait, is this/now a bad time? » implying that there is never a good time to talk about being a victim of sexual harassment. Whether you have had or needed time to digest what happened to you and finally mature and adult enough to confront the situation, people, family members who will wonder « why didn’t you tell us before? ». The fear to be called a liar, or to destroy relationships by revealing years later those acts. »
Une chanson qui fait écho à la libération de la parole des femmes quant aux aggressions sexuelles au sein de la scène punk, rock et metal. Bravo.
